Joe Walsh founded intrinSIM in late 2009 with the intention of enabling rapid next generation application development based on more than 30 years of experience and expertise in the CAE, CAD, interoperability and component software industries. He was most recently the VP Business Development for Simmetrix where he was responsible for sales, marketing and business relationships. Before joining Simmetrix he was VP of Worldwide Sales for IronCAD LLC, VP of North American Sales for Spatial Corp., partner and founder of New Renaissance, President/CEO and co-founder of FEGS Inc. the North American subsidiary of FEGS, Ltd. of Cambridge UK, President/CEO of PAFEC Inc. the North American subsidiary of PAFEC Ltd. of Nottingham UK, Director of Engineering Applications for Clevenger Corporation and 8+ years in engineering analysis positions specializing in CAD/CAE integration, CAE automation, and design optimization. Joe Walsh holds an Architectural Engineering degree from Milwaukee School of Engineering.
Karlheinz Peters

Karlheinz Peters joined intrinSIM to lead International Business Development efforts. Karlheinz has been involved with engineering software for more than 25 years and has held positions in general and sales management as well as product and industry marketing. Before joining intrinSIM, Karlheinz was Sr. Director Emerging Technologies at MSC.Software, a leading global CAE vendor for the automotive and aerospace industries. He was President of pioneerSOLUTIONS, a Simulation Based Design company, and was instrumental in the acquisition of this start-up by MSC. Before Pioneer he held positions as President and COO at ESI CFD Inc., a subsidiary of ESI-Group, Paris, France; Sr. VP Product Operations at CFDRC, technology leader in multi-physics CFD and Sr. VP Worldwide Sales at Spatial Technology. Karlheinz holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University for Applied Sciences in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
Omar Ibrahim

Business Development

Omar Ibrahim joined intrinSIM to lead Western North America Business Development efforts. Omar has over 25 years of experience in engineering software development, engineering analysis, and teaching. Omar has proven success in engineering software sales, marketing, business development and strategic planning. He has worked with leading edge technology providers and with a broad client base across both automotive and aerospace markets providing services and building business relationships in both start-up ventures and established organizations. Before joining intrinSIM, Omar was a Managing Director/Owner of Process Optimization Corporation, provided consulting services to engineering software companies in the areas of business development, sales and marketing and ensuring their processes are customer-focused. Before Process Optimization Corporation, he was a Director of NASTRAN Product at MSC Software , a global CAE software company. Before MSC, he was Regional Manager at Universal Analytics, Inc, a global engineering software company, where he managed the sales and the technical field engineers in the mid-west and eastern regions of the United States. Omar also has a strong technical background. Before UAI, he held a position as Senior Technical Support Engineer at CSAR Corporation. Prior to that, Omar worked as a Structural Dynamics Engineer at Analex Corporation (Contractor to NASA Lewis Research Center) in Ohio, performing complex engineering analyses on the Space Shuttle System. He was Adjunct Professor at Cleveland State University, taught graduate and undergraduate classes in the Engineering College (Civil and Mechanical Engineering). Omar holds a PhD in Civil Engineering – Structural Analysis from Cleveland State University.
